Singing with friends is always more fun!
Our chorus class has been bringing children together to sing their favorite songs (and learn new ones) for the last eight years.
In this group class, students will:
- Sing songs they love right away.
- Have the opportunity to sing solos and with a group.
- Learn the basics of music – building a foundation for future lessons.
- Perform on our low-pressure and optional recitals.
Our journey with Williamsburg Music Studio started with our oldest, Rebecca, taking piano lessons at the age of 4. At her first recital we were touched by the studio’s chorus performance and decided to give it a try. Soon after our youngest, Elizabeth, was singing alongside her sister. Over the years with the chorus, the girls participated in multiple recitals within the intimate atmosphere of other students and their families, proudly showing what they’ve learned. The Holiday Season recitals were the most magical! Every song the chorus practiced was added to our play list which became a sing-along go-to during family road trips. The girls can no longer participate in chorus in person as we moved out of the neighborhood, but they continue taking virtual piano and vocal lessons with the Studio. We are very grateful to Melanie and all the teachers for sharing the joy of music with our family!
